What our checks mean
Company registration checked: a dated lookup against the official Bulgarian Registry Agency where appropriate. This does not verify workmanship, prices, insurance or customer satisfaction.
Independent identity check: where a supplier cannot reasonably be checked in a company register, we require documented identity evidence held privately, not published. The method is described accurately.
Contact details reviewed: the approved public business contact method has been checked on a recorded date. It does not mean telephone availability or English-language service is guaranteed.
Professional services: healthcare and regulated professional claims require extra current regulator evidence before a business can be published under those categories. Business registration alone is insufficient.
Publication and expiry rules
Listings require permission covering publication of their business details and contact information. An editor checks mandatory evidence, an agreed public description, and a review due date no more than 90 days later. Overdue entries are withheld from public publication until reviewed again.
What paid means
Fixed-fee advertising, if launched, appears separately with a prominent Advertisement label, advertiser identity and active booking period. Buying visibility never earns an editorial verification label or preferential placement in independent search results.
Corrections, complaints and removal
We will investigate factual corrections, impersonation complaints, consent withdrawal and outdated contacts. When a credible serious issue is reported, we can suspend a profile while reviewing. We keep correction and internal evidence logs outside the public directory.
Privacy and data control
Only necessary business information is published. Private identity documents, consent evidence, dispute correspondence and personal contact information are not copied into public repository files. Individuals have applicable data-protection rights, subject to legal exceptions.
Property advertising boundary
Bulgaria Compass is not a property agency and will not arrange viewings, pass enquiries to sellers, negotiate or collect property commissions. Any eventual property advertisements require separate regulatory and contract review and should direct visitors to independent advertisers.
